Job Description
Due to increased work load Grange Quarry are actively looking to recruit a Quarry Operative based in the Annan Area. The individual must be motivated, a team player but also have initiative to work a independently. The correct candidate must have mechanical aptitude and experience working with large plant and equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Quarry
Operate quarry machinery and plant equipment to ensure continuity of flow, safety and efficient operation in order to maximise production
Maintain quarry machinery and plant equipment, ensuring any faults and defects are reported immediately
Monitor operations to ensure that Health & Safety standards are met
Ensure all relevant records are kept up to date and accurate, i.e. defect sheets, risk assessments
Personal
Ensure appropriate Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) is worn at all times
Ensure your own Health & Safety and that of others
Attend and undertake appropriate training as required
Interact with customers in a professional manner
Submit timesheets to the office in a timely manner to ensure payroll can be processed on time
Any other duties identified by your Line Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 38,580.00 per year
