The Opportunity

We have a numerous vacancies for a Quarry Operative to join our team at our Sand & Gravel Quarry in Uttoxeter, as our Quarry Operative reporting to our Site Manager, you'll join our operational team to help run the quarry and process plant safely and efficiently.


You will have the opportunity to work with both fixed and mobile plants to safely move and process materials with full training and support provided. You will learn and understand how raw materials are processed, while helping to meet safety and quality standards. You will also get involved in weighbridge operations as part of your role, with all necessary training provided.

Who you are

We are looking for a highly Safety conscious and motivated General Operative with drive and enthusiasm to work as part of a team. Excellent communication and team working skills. Good organisational skills. Ability to work to deadlines. Previous experience within a similar industry - preferred but not essential. Experience in operation of mobile and static plants preferred but non essential. All relevant trainings are provided.
