Morris and Perry are a long established independently owned company producing Aggregates, Ready Mixed Concrete and Coated Materials for the local construction industry. We have a reputation for taking a personal approach to business.
The Quarry Products Division are currently seeking to appoint a Quarry Operative. As well as your daily duties, you will be required to ensure the safety of people, vehicles and plant in line with health and safety legislation.
Requirements:
Working times will be from 6am until 4:30pm with overtime on top of these hours as required including Saturday mornings. Previous experience in operating mobile and static quarry plant would be preferable but training will be provided to the successful applicant. Ability to work as part of a team. Operation of fixed and mobile production plant. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping keeping to ensure areas are kept clean, tidy and hazard free. Deal with all daily issues professionally and liaise with site management on a regular basis. To carry out the daily plant inspections and where a problem exists notify management immediately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
