Job Description

We're looking for a Plant Operator with experience of working in quarries, or within a similar industry.

Based in West Wales, the successful candidate will report to the Quarry Management Team within the Pembrokeshire Area and across various bases where business need requires.

You will be comfortable working under instruction to set timescales and as part of a team, with a firm focus on adhering to our health and safety regulations to keep you and others safe at all times. There will also be an expectation for you to perform general operative duties.

The successful candidate will:

Safe operation of company fixed and mobile plant. Carry out daily inspections of fixed and mobile plant. Carry out manual labour-intensive tasks on site mobile or static plant subject to HIRA and SSOW when required. be punctual and a good time keeper be willing to follow instruction and work as part of a team have a good attitude towards health & safety and company rules be flexible with hours to meet our business needs be able to work unsupervised have good communication skills and a flexible and positive 'can do' attitude
