Overview

We are seeking a Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting storage systems , mezzanine floors and components in various sites across the uk. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with power tools lifting equipment and mewps. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our installs meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to assemble components accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fit parts together. use of lifting equipment and access equipment. Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with other team members to optimise installation processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve fitting issues as they arise during the assembly process. Full training will be given to the right candidate. Nationwide coverage so working away from home will happen, all hotels etc will be paid for.

Skills

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in fitting or assembly roles. Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in fitting tasks. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges. A can do attitude is a must. ipaf, cscs, seirs, forklift reach and counter balance. drivers licence
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,651.77-38,000.00 per year

Schedule:

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
