Join Our Radiology Team - Evening Administrative Support



We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Radiology Department, providing vital administrative and clerical support in a patient-facing role. This position is key to delivering a high-quality service, supporting the smooth and efficient running of Radiology services and contributing to an excellent patient experience.



You will play an important role in coordinating patient flow, maintaining accurate records, and carrying out data entry using the EPIC and ICE computer systems. Regular interaction with patients means this role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organised, and committed to providing outstanding customer care.

Confidence using computer systems (training on EPIC and ICE provided)



Working hours:



Monday to Friday, 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Heatherwood Hospital

Provide an efficient and effective service to both patients and other staff



Maintain a customer care approach at all times.



Support the introduction of Government, Trust, and Departmental quality and business initiatives.



Actively encourage feedback as part of the departmental quality initiative



Maintain the high standards of the department by contributing towards individual and team objectives



Maintain good communication and relationships with a number of stakeholders including patients and other users of the service



Convey factual information to patients, including children re:

examinations;



To input patient details accurately into Radiology Information System EPIC .



Deal with telephone enquiries from the public in a discreet manner with empathy and sensitivity.



Liaise with GP practices, hospital staff and other associated agencies internally and externally of the Trust in a polite and courteous manner taking action where appropriate and passing information promptly to the appropriate staff.



The staff member will work in our different departments to assist with gaps in the rota and as per operational need



The post holder must be able to travel to our satellite sites on an ad hoc basis to cover our reception areas where necessary
