We are looking for a Radiopharmacy Technician to join the team at our state-of-the-art centre based in Windsor.

As a Radiopharmacy Technician, you will support the provision of a clinical Radiopharmacy service, including preparation of radioactive medicinal products.

Hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours), permanent.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Participate in the aseptic manufacture of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals
• To comply with requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice Undertake routine monitoring and maintenance of the Radiopharmacy clean room suite and associated equipment
• Maintain suitable levels of both stock and non-stock items in the Radiopharmacy.
• Dispose of radioactive waste in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Facilitate good medicines management including stock rotation, removal of excess and expired stock
• Contribute to procurement activities to ensure adequate and responsive stock holding
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety at work act and the control of substances hazardous to health regulations
• Undertake any other tasks appropriate to capabilities of the role

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll have:

Experience and skills:

• Experience of aseptic manufacturing techniques for sterile medicinal products using a negative pressure isolator
• Experience of aseptic manufacturing operations for preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals
• Experience of handling radioactive materials
• Good timekeeper
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail \xe2\x80\x93 ensure accurate recording of data
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Able to plan and organise straight forward tasks and programmes, and ensure effective control of pharmaceutical stock
• Able to communicate clearly with a range of people at differing levels across the organisation, deploying a range of techniques to do this effectively
• Ability to work unsupervised whilst maintaining attention to details.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

• Experience in Radiopharmacy
• Previous (radio)pharmacy technician experience in relevant area
