The Role

We are looking for a motivated and practical

Shovel Driver/Railhead Operative

to join our busy team at

Llandudno Junction Railhead

. This hands-on role is central to our material loading and processing operations.

You'll work in a dynamic rail loading environment, operating plant machinery and supporting the safe and efficient transfer of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities

Operate mobile plant equipment including loading shovels and excavators Carry out daily inspections, basic maintenance, and housekeeping of the site and equipment Maintain high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental management Work flexibly as part of a proactive and supportive team Support operational efficiency through strong problem-solving and communication

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Experience operating loading shovels and/or excavators (essential) A hard-working, can-do attitude Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work occasional night shifts and weekends A commitment to safety and operational excellence
