Rate: \xc2\xa3700 - \xc2\xa3840 inside IR35

Hybrid working - flexibility to do 3 days/week in office

As the evolution of electronic trading and automation has changed the way that Rates products trade, this client is a major player in this competitive landscape.

As a Rates Electronic Trading Senior Business Analyst you will be in the Rates Distribution team, which is responsible for their electronic connectivity and distribution platform, enabling their Rates business to keep its market-leading position. This team is HQ\'d in New York with a substancial extension in London, with representation in Paris, Mississauga, Shanghai, Sydney & Tokyo.

Your experience will need to be in Investment Banking, not Retail Banking.

Responsibilities of a Rates Electronic Trading Senior Business Analyst

• Document actionable specs for their project
• Closely interact with business and other eTrading teams in developing new features in the Rates electronic platform
• Identify synergies between processes and regions so that flows and data can be reused
• Align global release procedures and versioning of components
• Execute functional and non-regression testing of the end-to-end service, including automated and manual testing
• Write test plans and organise UAT phases
• Provide third line support for any pre or post trade issues using platform expertise to resolve quickly & further educate both support & trading

Skills needed for a Rates Electronic Trading Senior Business Analyst

• At least one substantial prior experience (5y+) as a business analyst in a large organisation, preferably a highly reputable investment banking group
• Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, and associated trading workflow: Government Bonds & Interest Rates Swaps
• Extensive understanding of electronic trading venues, APIs and associated dataflows
• Experience with ION Trading Platform (MMI and/or SysAdmin)
• Active interest in design of system architecture
• Any prior experience with scripting, debugging or software development is welcomed
