This key role involves supervising the Customer Services team, ensuring excellent service standards, and assisting with the efficient handling of enquiries, payments, and licensing. The postholder will also play an important part in ensuring compliance with the
Rates (Jersey) Law 2005
, supporting the
Rates Assessment Committee

Key Responsibilities
Support the Customer Services Manager in the day-to-day running of the Customer Services team.
Support the management of Parish Rates processes, including assessments, collections, and reminders.
Supervise and motivate staff to deliver a friendly, efficient, and professional service.
Handle complex or escalated enquiries and complaints with empathy and efficiency.
Support assessors and handle appeals and queries related to Parish Rates.
Assist in the development and implementation of service improvements and digital initiatives.
Issue various licenses and permits in accordance with legislation.

Ensure compliance with data protection and parish policies.
Contribute to fostering an inclusive and supportive Parish culture.
