Deploy is Akur8's rating engine, the final step in Akur8's end to end vision - where all steps of pricing, from initial data analysis, to modeling, to ratemaking are streamlined in one modern, powerful and efficient software.

As a brand new product under active development, Deploy provides numerous opportunities and challenges, building the bridge between two key functions in insurance.

On one hand the actuarial side focuses on extracting insights from data and making statistical business decisions; whilst the IT side is focused on maintaining and productionalizing reliable systems.

These two sides - with different skillset and perspectives - currently involve inefficient processes and handoffs, which Deploy aims to solve to provide a synergy and alignment which increases speed to market.

Solving these challenges involves gaining a deep understanding of both IT and Actuaries differing objectives, particularly how to organize and map the complex ecosystem that hides behind an insurance product and its pricing.
