Job Summary



We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented

R&D and Product Specialist

to join our growing team. This position plays a crucial role in product development, validation, technical support, and client engagement across our molecular diagnostics portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with customer-facing skills to support product excellence and B2B customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Product Expertise & Quality Compliance

Gain a deep understanding of AMD's Molecular Products, including technical specifications and clinical applications.

Support technical transition to IVDR, including validation, documentation, and performance evaluation.

Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions in line with ISO 13485.

Assist in quality control reviews and continuous updates to maintain compliance and high product standards.

Product Development & Innovation

Collaborate with R&D to transfer client feedback into technical specifications under PSMR and IVDR frameworks.

Support biomarker design and bioinformatics development aligned with gold-standard diagnostics.

Contribute to product testing, validation, and documentation processes for new and existing products.

Client Support & Relationship Management

Provide high-level technical support to B2B clients, including troubleshooting and product optimisation guidance.

Maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-ups, feedback collection, and performance reviews.

Conduct remote and on-site training to ensure optimal product use and customer satisfaction.

Sales & Market Strategy Support

Advise on market entry and growth strategies based on global disease distribution and genetic diversity.

Deliver detailed product demonstrations to internal and external stakeholders.

Support global regulatory registration efforts, ensuring compliance with local and international requirements.

Training & Knowledge Transfer

Develop and deliver technical training sessions, workshops, and user manuals.

Stay aware of emerging trends in molecular biology and diagnostics to keep clients and internal teams informed.

Continuously update training materials based on the latest regulatory, scientific, and product developments.

Qualifications



Education

Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field (PhD preferred).

Experience

1-2 years in molecular industrial or a related sector, ideally in a B2B environment.

Experience with Biomedical/Biotechnology development and handling preferred.

Background in customer support, R&D, or product validation desirable.

Skills

Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Excellent interpersonal, training, and communication capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 38 per week
