R&D Manager

, you'll lead strategic client relationships, deliver high-value claims, and help build one of the most ambitious R&D tax teams in the country. We're looking for a Manager with a strong STEM background to play a massive part in our continued growth.

What You'll Do

Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex R&D tax claims across multiple sectors. Provide strategic planning and consultancy across a broad client base Own client relationships and become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders Ensure technical accuracy and legislative compliance across all submissions Collaborate with technical, finance, and delivery teams to drive results Mentor and develop junior consultants, raising the bar across the team Assist in progressing business development opportunities and pitch for work with both new and existing clients Contribute to operational improvement, client retention, and growth

What You Bring

Experience preparing or reviewing R&D tax claims--whether from industry or as a Senior Tax Accountant, Assistant Manager, Team Leader, or established Manager in a professional services setting Strong understanding of UK R&D tax legislation and compliance requirements Leadership skills--confident managing teams and high-value client portfolios Excellent communication, relationship-building, and commercial awareness ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
