The Role



As an

R&D Support

, you'll play a key role in assisting our development team with product trials, data analysis, and documentation. You'll ensure projects run smoothly, supporting innovation from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the development of new products and processes Blend wet and dry samples on bench for internal or external evaluation Support product development decision making through product and process experience, knowledge and evaluation Prepare product samples and packaging for submission to customers Assist in new product and process introduction to the factory Support or lead production trials of new products, processes and/or raw materials. Support internal and customer product testing, tasting or benchmarking exercises in the R&D laboratory, making sure all materials and equipment are prepared Ensure R&D department raw and packaging materials are in stock, fresh, properly labelled and stored correctly Maintain the R&D facility in a "customer ready" condition Share acquired product knowledge with Operations and QA team in regards to products and processes this includes assisting in problem solving. Product and process development support Production trial support Internal and external product evaluation Operations and QA support

What We're Looking For:



2-3 years of food manufacturing experience ideally in a NPD or Quality related role. Product development process understanding, i.e. development, trialling and launching of new products, process and raw materials. Practical food manufacturing experience - dry powder blending, packing and testing experience would be advantageous. Good written and verbal skills Computer literacy, specifically with MS Outlook, Excel and Word. Flexible style that adapts well to fast moving business environment.
