Location: Fringford

Shift: Monday to Friday, (core hours are 08:30 - 17:00)

R&D Support Technician

to join our team in Fringford.

And don't worry if you've never test-baked or prepared prototypes before, training is part of the package. We'll make sure you have all the skills you need to succeed.

In this role, your mission is to support the R&D team. You will support in sample preparation, product testing, test-baking and supporting the Innovation Centre on a day-to-day basis.

What you will do



Delight customers:



Preparation of prototype products for internal trials and customer validation

Analysis of prototypes and baked goods in support of research, product development and factory scale-up

Despatch of samples to customers and reporting on the production and use of samples

Develop inspirational finished goods and concepts:



Support R&D with test-baking of bakery and patisserie products when needed

Build and share knowledge and experience:



5S implementation

Support Innovation Centre organisation:



Overseeing tools to monitor, share and improve the impact of the Innovation Centre and its activities Procurement and management of ingredient stocks for the Innovation Centre

Contributing to the application and improvement of food safety and hygiene practices

Support the Innovation centre manager with management of the centre

What we expect from you



Interdependent team player: respect others, helpful, open minded, modest and integer, work in close collaboration with Group Technical Advisor managers

Is able to handle a very dynamic work environment. The priorities in planning change a lot and needs rework constantly

Strong communicator, able to connect easily with people

Good organisational skills

Computer skills and ability to use professional tools (Microsoft software, SAP,)

Proven planning and organization skills with good attention to detail

Flexible personality and attitude: open-minded, honest, social, respect, team player.
