Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver to join our team based in Wolverhampton.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment to load and unload goods from lorries and storage areas.

Move materials within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and organisation of stock.

Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality, reporting any issues promptly.

Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.

Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to all safety protocols to prevent injuries.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and support overall logistics activities.

Skills and Experience:

Mechanical knowledge to understand reach truck operations and basic equipment repair.

Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting.

Proficiency in using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory.

Strong skills in load unloading procedures, ensuring safe handling of materials.

Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.

Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.

Knowledge of materials handling best practices to enhance efficiency and safety in the workplace.
