We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reading Specialist to join a primary school in Camden, London (Near Farringdon)

Breakdown:

January 2026 start Part-time, 15 hours/week, ideally split across 4 days Primary school in Camden, London Fixed-term until 19th July 2025| Term time only Ideal for those who are retired/family commitments to offer flexibility Grade 3, SCP 5 31,086 - SCP 6: 31,530

Actual Salary: 11,565 - 11,731

As a Reading Specialist TA, you will:

Work with individuals and small groups to support reading development. Deliver targeted interventions to boost reading confidence and comprehension. Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to support pupil progress.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience supporting reading and literacy in a primary school setting. Is confident using phonics-based approaches and other reading strategies. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Is committed to helping all pupils succeed. Is proactive, organised, and a strong team player.
