Job Title: Receiving & Release Inspector

Location: Staverton

Salary: \xc2\xa333,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Role Overview \xe2\x80\x93 Receiving & Release Inspector

My client is a leading aerospace industry provider, based in the Staverton area who specialise in the supplying of aircraft parts to the global aerospace leaders. They are looking for a Receiving & Release Inspector to become a part of their Quality Assurance team in their Staverton based facility.

Key Responsibilities \xe2\x80\x93 Receiving & Release Inspector

• Conforming Product and Certification to Design Data, Customer Specification on Purchase Order Requirements.
• Review FAI Inspection Reports
• Meeting quality standards and Specifications on incoming and outgoing products.
• Using various inspection tools to inspect complex mechanical parts both visually and dimensionally.
• Accepting and rejecting products based on drawings, specifications, instructions and checklists.
• Monitoring and verifying quality IAW statistical process or other procedures.
• Supporting Supplier Quality, Supply Chain and Mechanical / Electronic Engineers with product issues.
• Ensuring all measuring equipment is maintained to its required calibration.

• Checking completed product against Customer Purchase Orders, Contracts and DOA/POA Arrangements.
• Completing paperwork and certification (C of C and UK Form 1) prior to delivery to the customer.
• Work to Ontic internal procedures.
• Archiving completed production and maintenance records.

Other Responsibilities - Receiving & Release Inspector

• Adhering to the legislation governing employment, including health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities ensuring compliance with local policies and procedures.
• Complying with statutory requirements, regulations and company policies.

Key Qualifications - Receiving & Release Inspector

• ONC / HNC Engineering related discipline.
• CMM experience.
• AS9102 First Article Inspection Reporting.

Key Experience & Skills \xe2\x80\x93 Receiving & Release Inspector

• Ability to read Engineering drawings and to check components against the requirements.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Experience operating a CMM e.g., PC DMIS software.
• Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Mechanical and Technical skills
• Good communication skills
• Creating and improving processes
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally all levels
