Role \xe2\x80\x93 Quality Inspector
Location \xe2\x80\x93 Stonehouse
Hourly Rate - \xc2\xa315 per hour
7.30AM - 4.30PM (7.30AM - 12.30PM Friday)
Contract - Overtime available
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspectore to join an established engineering company based in Stonehouse.
This market leading engineering business, operating in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive and transportation.
Main responsibilities:
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Use of measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges)
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
- Keep Site Head of Quality informed about site operation and problems
- Follow company health & safety procedures and disciplines
- Good attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings advantageous
- Experince of using measuring equipment
- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%
