Reception Manager (Part-Time) - Award-Winning Complementary Therapy Centre, Balham
We are a well-established, award-winning Complementary Therapy Centre in Balham, just a short walk from the station. With 6 beautiful treatment rooms, over 30 skilled therapists, and nearly 70 holistic treatments on offer, we are proud to be a hub for wellness in the local community.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive
Reception Manager
to join our friendly and professional team.
Role Overview
Position:
Reception Manager
Hours:
27.5 hours per week (set and non-negotiable)
Monday:
10:15am - 5:15pm
Wednesday:
5:15pm - 9:45pm
Thursday:
10:15am - 5:15pm
Friday:
8:15am - 5:15pm
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for therapists and reception staff
Manage bookings and amendments (via phone, email, online, and in person)
Take payments and handle front-of-house enquiries
Create and send out monthly newsletters
Update the website and social media accounts (including scheduled posts)
Generate weekly reports
Liaise with and arrange viewings for prospective therapists
Actively seek new therapists, clients, and suppliers
Requirements
Proven experience in a Receptionist or Front-of-House Manager role
Able to commit to the listed shifts on a
permanent
basis
Resides within
20 minutes
travel time of
SW12
Highly organised with excellent time management skills
Calm under pressure and confident multitasking
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Strong computer literacy and comfortable with digital tools
Social media experience preferred
Flexibility to provide holiday cover where needed
Knowledge of or interest in complementary therapies is a plus
