WHAT YOU'RE HERE TO DO





Our Receptionist is the first point of contact for all visitors to Jamie Oliver HQ based in North London. They are responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors and creating a welcoming environment for them. We are looking for someone to join us on a 12 month maternity contract joining in September 2025. Responsibilities include:


Meet and greet all visitors, taking coats, providing refreshments as appropriate and notifying the meeting organiser or their PA. Carry out opening and closing procedures setting out the first impression Jamie would always want to see Maintain a dynamic and effective environment, ensuring all areas within reception and the dining room are tidy and presentable, and ensuring the day runs to a plan for both staff and visitors Be aware of all key management and board meetings taking place including arranging meeting room bookings Liaising with the Facilities Assistants and relevant PA's to ensure there are sufficient arrangements made for all management and board meetings Ensure the reception desk and phones are covered at all times through effective organisation and collaborating with your colleagues Working with the Chefs and Facilities Team, transfer the weekly staff lunch menus adding them to the ordering platform, communicate them to the business, collate and export all daily orders and supervise the payment and voucher process to ensure a seamless system for both chefs and staff Conduct all new starters facilities induction, educating joiners on the fire evacuation plans/exits and locations of need to know places. Work alongside P&D to ensure all inductions are welcoming, informative and inclusive for their first day handing out the necessary and relevant docs, and equipment Provide support, assistance and cover to the Facilities and Events teams where required with ad hoc operational/administrative duties.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW





Experience from a similar reception or front-of- house role Experience of delivering excellent customer service with strong communication skills is a must General administrative experience (including answering queries) Experience using in-house databases Experience in food safety (specifically allergens), fire safety and first aid is beneficial but not essential) Have excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable manner Excellent attention to detail The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines (and to remain calm and cheerful) Strong organisational skills
