About The Role
You will be the first point of contact for students and parents during classes. Between sessions you will manage the centre inbox, schedule enrolment appointments, and keep student records up to date. If you have an interest in marketing, you may also help plan promotional activity and draft occasional social?media content.
Key responsibilities
Reception
Greet students and parents, manage sign?in/out, and answer routine questions
Hand students their worksheets for the class and collect their completed homework
Record the marks and completion times of the homeworks in the students' record books
Monitor and respond to messages that arrive during class hours
Administrative support
Check and respond to the centre's Outlook inbox each weekday
Book new student assessments and enrolments through the Kumon E?Enrolment dashboard
Update student records in Genius One
Optional marketing support
Help organise a simple promotional calendar or draft short social?media captions
Compile basic engagement statistics if time allows
Candidate Profile - What We're Looking For
Friendly, professional manner with both children and adults
Consistent reliability and punctuality; classes depend on reception opening on time
Clear written English for daily emails and messages
Confidence with everyday software and willingness to learn Kumon's online platforms (full training provided)
Eligibility to work in the UK and readiness to obtain an enhanced DBS check
Desirable: prior experience in a customer?facing role (e.g., reception, retail, hospitality, education)
Desirable: safeguarding and first-aid training
Desirable: familiarity with social?media scheduling or small?business marketing
