We are a caring, forward-thinking GP Practice Group based in Woking, Surrey.
We are seeking a reliable and organised Receptionist to join our friendly team of Patient Care Navigators.
As the first point of contact for our Practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive impression for visitors and callers. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills combined with a good working knowledge of IT programs such as Microsoft Outlook email.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors to the Practice in a professional and friendly manner
- Efficiently answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Skills:
- Strong clerical skills, including accurate data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
The ideal candidate will have worked in an NHS admin role previously, preferably with experience in primary or secondary care.
This is a full-time/part-time position offering competitive pay.
