This is an extremely rewarding role, working with one of the largest and oldest charities in the UK, in their search for a Receptionist / Customer Service Officer

You will be based at their reception and be the first point of contact for any visitors and will be responding to a range of queries, providing information and holistic advice.

JOB TITLE: Receptionist / Customer Service Officer

BENEFITS: Annual leave: 33 days holiday (this includes 8 bank holidays) you will be required to book bank holidays as it is seen as a normal day. Discount rate in onsite restaurant. Cycle to work scheme. Open 365 days - Good Friday and Christmas Day is paid at double time. Free parking on site

HOURS: 40 hours per week, worked on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Rota 1= Week 1: Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm, Sat and Sun off | Week 2: Mon to Wed 12pm to 8pm, Thurs and Fri off, Sat and Sun 12pm to 8pm

Rota 2 = Monday to Friday 12pm to 8pm, Sat and Sun off |Week 2: Mon, Tues, Wed 8am to 4pm, Thurs and Fri off, Sat and Sun 8am to 4pm

In effect working 2 weekends a month, there is flexibility to swapped shifts with colleagues, however the shift must be covered

ROLE:

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Receptionist Duties
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Dealing with any enquiries
  • Monitoring building access and signing in/out visitors
  • Operate IT systems
  • Operate Telephone switchboard
  • Receive, sort and distribute post/deliveries
  • Cashing up
  • Health and Safety Duties
  • Carry our routine facilities checks for H&S
  • Record any maintenance issues
  • Be an appointed H&S and Fire Safety Marshall
  • Accurately record any incidents
  • Housing Duties
  • Administrative support
  • Signpost staff and residents where necessary
  • Take a process rental payments
  • Community Service Duties
  • Booking community classes for members and taking payment
  • Maintain receipting and accounting of all monies
  • Respond to any enquiries
  • Set up/take down for facilities hire
  • Review feedback to improve customer care
