Contessa Hotels are looking for motivated and committed individuals to join our fast-paced Reception and Reservations team at Hillbark Hotel and Spa in Frankby.
Contessa Hotels are magnificent, luxury boutique hotels offering our guests 5 star service at all times. Our Reception team are the hub of our hotels and are responsible for the majority of bookings and guest interactions.
As well as being immaculate in their presentation, the successful candidate must also have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and a real flair for customer service.
General Duties include:
General checking in/out of guests
Answering the telephone and diverting calls
Making restaurant, bedroom and spa reservations
Communicating with all other hotel departments
Welcoming/greeting all guests on arrival
General administration tasks such as preparing bills, filing, typed correspondence
Cash/card handling
Presenting all areas of the hotel to guests such as the restaurant and conference facilities
Assisting to manage the Sales Team's diary
Knowledge and up-selling of hotel facilities, packages and offers.
Applicants, must have the following skills and qualities:
Smart, pristine appearance to adhere to the company's uniform/presentation standards
Professional attitude in dealing with customers and colleagues
IT literate
Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
Ability to communicate to an extremely high standard across all mediums(eg. Face-to-face, telephone, email)
High level of grammatical skills both written & verbal
Strong organisational skills
The hours of work are full-time, five over seven days. Reception shifts run between 7am - 11pm hence a flexible approach is essential. Typical shift patterns being 7am-4.30pm for an early shift and 1.30pm-11.30pm for a late shift, although these can vary.

Salary dependent upon experience or meets national minimum wage.
Driving licence or fixed transport arrangement is recommended for Hillbark Hotel particularly due to the Hotel's location.
