Battlefield Surgery is a friendly GP practice near the New Victoria Hospital. We're looking for a reliable, friendly and welcoming

Receptionist

to join our small, supportive team on a zero hours contract. This is a part-time role for 3 months but may be extended beyond this date.

Hours:

0 to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6pm. Flexibility to cover annual leave or absence is essential.

Key duties include:

Greeting patients and handling enquiries Booking appointments (in person and by phone) Processing prescriptions and registrations Supporting admin tasks and signposting patients Communicating test results and clinician messages

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a GP practice or hospital reception preferred Strong IT and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask A true team player - willing to support colleagues in a friendly way and keep things running smoothly, You will have a can-do and helpful attitude Knowledge of Vision and Docman systems is an advantage Audio typing and medical terminology experience beneficial
