We are recruiting a receptionist/admin assistant on a part-time basis, working Tuesday to Friday, 30 hours per week, 8am to 4pm.
You will provide efficient, responsive, administrative and IT support to the complementary therapy service and other members of the Counselling and Emotional support team as required.
Provide an efficient telephone and reception service to assist patients with appointment enquiries.
Day to day support and training of volunteers including organising rotas and assisting with recruitment process.
Adopt a flexible approach to tasks given and extensive use of Microsoft IT packages and SystmOne (patient electronic record system).
Provide cover to The Hospice reception as required, sometimes at short notice.
Assist the IPU team with the request, collection and distribution of paper patient records and the maintenance of electronic record system for patients notes as required whilst covering the Hospice reception.
To assist in facilitating good communications between patients and families, all members of the Hospice interdisciplinary team and other agencies.
