We're looking for a Recoveries Handler to join our recoveries and invoicing team. You'll play a key role in managing recoveries cases efficiently, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the department's income targets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage your own caseload of recovery files efficiently and effectively.
Monitor outstanding debt and take appropriate steps to progress recovery.
Liaise with insurers, solicitors, and clients to ensure timely payment and resolution.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all platforms.
Support the wider team in achieving departmental targets and service levels.
Identify potential issues or disputes and escalate where appropriate.
Communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth client experience.
What we're looking for:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with great attention to detail.
Excellent telephone manner and confidence speaking to other over the phone.
Confidence in managing multiple cases and prioritising workloads effectively.
Knowledge of credit hire invoicing and recovery procedures (desirable).
A good understanding of the claims process or previous experience within a similar role (preferred).
