As a Recovery Handler you will be working on behalf of a large insurance company handling a portfolio of non-fault claims recovering the costs incurred.
What will your working week be like?
As a Recovery Handler you will be responsible for managing and processing the claim proactively whilst keeping the relevant parties updated. You will be handling the claims from first notification of the accident until resolution. This will include assessing liability of a motor accident, collating and reviewing evidence whilst using good negotiations skills.
Who will this role suit?
The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience in debt recovery, claims handling, with a good understanding of the recovery process. The candidate will have great customer service skills, ability to analyse liability and good organisational skills. Attention to detail is key when managing a caseload and ensuring an effective diary system is adhered to.
