Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop young gymnasts of varying skill levels. This role involves creating a positive and safe training environment, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a love for gymnastics among participants.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts. Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, techniques, and routines while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Provide constructive feedback to athletes to help them improve their performance and build confidence. Monitor the progress of gymnasts and adjust training plans as necessary to meet their developmental goals. Organise and supervise practice sessions, ensuring that all equipment is safe and in good condition. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among participants. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any areas for improvement. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with coaching techniques and gymnastics trends.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential, preferably within gymnastics or related disciplines. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and coaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young athletes. A passion for promoting fitness, health, and well-being through gymnastics. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for training sessions. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
