As a Recruiter at Moran Logistics, you'll play a vital role in identifying and attracting talented professionals to join our growing logistics and supply chain teams. From warehouse operatives to transport managers and drivers, your work will directly impact the smooth operation of our nationwide delivery network. You'll be responsible for sourcing high-quality candidates through CV databases, job boards, employee referrals, and our internal systems. Once sourced, you'll conduct detailed telephone interviews to assess their suitability for a variety of roles within our fast-paced logistics environment. As part of your role, you'll develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet both current and future staffing needs. You'll also coordinate interviews, work closely with hiring managers, and ensure candidates have smooth, professional experience throughout the recruitment process. You will be required to travel to other Moran sites when required for the needs of the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Source qualified candidates for logistics and supply chain roles using CV databases, job boards, referrals, and internal systems
Recruit for all Head Office and Operational roles, including roles such as Finance, IT, Warehouse Operatives, Drivers and more.
Conduct thorough telephone screenings to assess candidates' suitability for roles.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent to support ongoing and future hiring needs across the business
Coordinate interviews and manage communication between candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process
Deliver an excellent candidate experience from application to onboarding
Working closely with department leads to understand staffing requirements and provide tailored recruitment support
Meet and exceed recruitment KPIs, ensuring roles are filled efficiently and in line with service-level expectations
Maintain accurate records of recruitment activity and support reporting requirements as needed
Understand and leverage recruitment algorithms and applicant tracking system (ATS) logic to optimize job ad visibility, candidate matching, and hiring efficiency

The role is based at our Head Office in Castle Donington, working Monday to Friday, you will be required to travel to our other Moran sites supporting recruitment throughout the UK.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Logistics background desirable
Knowledge of recruitment algorithms and keyword optimization
Ability to meet tight deadlines and timescales
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
