We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking junior recruiter to assist with our recruiting activities. As a junior recruiter, you will be responsible for posting job applications online, examining resumes, screening potential candidates, and setting up interviews. You will work directly under the hiring manager or executive recruiter and assist with all recruiting-related duties.
To ensure success as a junior recruiter, you should have advanced knowledge of recruitment techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. A top-notch Junior Recruiter understands the needs of the company and ensures that only qualified candidates make it through to the final interview.
Duties
Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract potential candidates.
Utilise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and streamline the recruitment process.
Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Build and nurture relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
Manage social media platforms for employer branding and candidate engagement.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with overall human resources objectives.
Maintain accurate records in Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within a corporate environment.
Strong lead generation skills with a track record of successfully sourcing candidates through various channels.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with ATS platforms is highly desirable.
Experience in relationship management, demonstrating an ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes is an advantage, or willingness to learn
