As our Recruitment and HR Compliance Coordinator you will lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, support HR compliance, and help ensure that we continue to attract, onboard, and retain outstanding staff in line with our values of curiosity, ambition and generosity.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the full recruitment cycle, liaising with department heads and candidates to ensure a professional and efficient process from advertising to onboarding.
Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and applicants, ensuring a warm, responsive, and supportive candidate experience.
Carry out all safer recruitment checks in line with KCSIE and ISI regulations, including vetting of staff, volunteers, and contractors.
Maintain accurate employee records and manage the Single Central Register to the highest standards of integrity and accuracy.
Maintain the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring all employee data is entered accurately, kept up to date, and complies with relevant policies and data protection legislation.
Keep up to date with changes in employment legislation, safeguarding guidance, and GDPR requirements to ensure continued compliance.
Coordinate staff inductions and probation reviews, and support leavers processes in a timely and sensitive manner.
Provide administrative support and management information reports to the HR Manager and wider leadership team as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience in a compliance-focused recruitment or HR administration role, ideally within a regulated or education setting.
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy in managing sensitive data and documentation.
The ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating warmth, professionalism, and discretion.
A strong understanding of GDPR and safer recruitment practices, and a willingness to keep abreast of new legislation and best practice.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confidence using HRIS or other database systems.
A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
