Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Recruitment and Onboarding Advisor to lead our talent acquisition and onboarding efforts across our business. This role is key to ensuring we attract the right candidates and provide them with the right start with us.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to AIT Home Delivery's workforce.

Manage the full recruitment cycle for all roles across the business.

Ensure advertisements are placed on relevant job boards and social media to attract suitable applicants

Support in recruitment activities such as interviewing

Attend jobs fairs, recruitment events and local community events for the purpose of recruitment.

Maintain ATS records and ensure GDPR compliance

Design and deliver a structured onboarding programme that supports new staff through their induction period.

Coordinate the induction process for all new employees, including set up on systems and documentations.

Ensure all new hires receive a thorough induction in line with the requirements of their role

Monitor probation periods, ensuring reminders are sent to line managers and any issues flagged to the Head of People and Talent

Act as a key point of contact for new hires, ensuring a warm and informed welcome.

Work closely with department managers to forecast staffing needs and improve retention.

Monitor and report on recruitment and onboarding KPIs, including new starter feedback.

Stay informed on sector trends and workforce challenges impacting recruitment.



This role would be ideal for you if you are an internal recruiter looking to take on a broader role, or an experienced agency recruiter wanting to move inhouse and have an understanding of basic HR practices and reporting metrics.
