About the role



We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven

Employer Engagement Manager

to lead the development and delivery of an Employer Engagement strategy for

West Yorkshire

. With a strategic focus on expanding opportunities in various sectors including Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, HGV, Pastoral/SEN Care and Education (Teaching Assistants), this role will enable successful connections between employers and skilled talent from our Skills Bootcamps while working with organisations to upskill their existing workforce.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and enjoy the opportunity to shape the role and make a significant impact.

Main purpose



Your role will centre on building meaningful relationships with employers to create job opportunities and support workforce development through Skills Bootcamps. With support from senior management and the marketing team, you will advance our mission of empowering learners and organisations, driving employment outcomes and supporting regional growth.

Key Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and execute an innovative employer engagement strategy, supported by senior management and marketing resources. Build strong, professional relationships with employers to promote the recruitment of learners from Skills Bootcamps or the upskilling of their staff. Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engagement, outcomes, and learner support. Deliver targeted employment support sessions for Skills Bootcamp learners. Work collaboratively with the marketing department to create impactful campaigns and utilise social media to strengthen outreach efforts. Provide tailored guidance and employment support to learners, preparing them for sustainable and fulfilling careers. Maintain detailed and compliant records using the Zoho CRM system to track progress and outcomes. Represent the organisation at networking events, showcasing our services and building valuable professional connections.

Skills and qualifications



Essential



Proven experience in recruitment, sales, or employer engagement, with a strong track record of success. Ability to independently develop and execute lead-generation strategies, manage follow-ups, and close sales to achieve ambitious goals. Demonstrable experience working with senior-level professionals and building long-term partnerships. Exceptional time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple responsibilities effectively. Strong literacy and numeracy skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools such as PowerPoint. Energetic, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced, target-driven environments. Positive attitude, a creative mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Desirable



Experience supporting employment outcomes on Skills Bootcamps. Knowledge of local labour markets and employer needs in the West Yorkshire region.
