As a Senior Employer Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in growing and fostering relationships with employers within the health and social care sector and ensuring our programmes align with the needs of employers.
A commercially minded, dynamic business development professional, you will also lead our team of Employment Coaches who onboard and support learners on all our training programmes. You will work closely with employers and our delivery team to understand employer training requirements and provide innovative solutions.
Job Purpose
Lead on the design and implementation of an effective employer and learner engagement strategy for Embark Learning
Undertake regular sales campaigns to ensure commercial revenue is in line with agreed targets
Support the identification, engagement and recruitment of high-quality aspiring carers for our flagship programmes
Oversee effective learner transition into employment through our team of employment coaches
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers in the health and social care sector
Identify and understand the training needs of employers and provide tailored solutions
Provide detailed employer sales proposals and ensure programmes are costed and meet feasibility and margin requirements
Support the development of the commercial offer to ensure it is current and meets sector requirements
Effectively manage learner and employer enquiries using our online systems
Lead a team of Employment Coaches to ensure learners are recruited and supported on all our training programmes and transition effectively into employment
Ensure employers and learners receive high quality information, advice and guidance throughout their learning journey
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training programmes meet employer requirements.
Maintain consistent and effective communication and collaboration with Fairway Healthcare
Foster and firmly establish a robust communal and collaborative environment across all departments Embark and Fairway Healthcare
Liaise with the employers on learner progress and suitability for employment as required
Represent Embark at industry events, conferences, and meetings
Provide regular reports and updates to the Senior Leadership Team on employer engagement activities
Stay informed about industry trends and developments to ensure our training programmes remain relevant and effective
Person Specification
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
Proven experience in sales, employer engagement, business development, relationship building, preferably within the health and social care or the education sector. Experience of managing a team.
Desirable:
Leadership or management qualification or relevant degree.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employers
Results orientated and ability to meet targets and to report against them to internal and external parties
Ability to understand and communicate organisational values and mission e.g. policies, procedures, approach and culture
Strong organisational and project management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software
