The University of St Andrews is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our Human Resources team and play a pivotal role in shaping the way we attract and appoint outstanding people. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a world-leading institution, supporting our ambition to provide an inclusive and progressive staff recruitment experience.



As a senior member of the Recruitment team, you will act as a trusted partner for colleagues across the University, offering professional guidance on talent attraction strategy, job design, attraction methods, and selection processes. You will also play a key role in planning and workload allocation for the service, provide support and mentorship to our Recruitment Assistants, and serve as a point of escalation for complex queries -- ensuring a consistently high-quality service.



This role also offers the chance to lead on varied recruitment campaigns, from senior academic appointments to large-scale professional services recruitment, as well as contribute to important projects such as our transition to a new HR Shared Services model. You will have the opportunity to influence change, drive continuous improvement, and help develop innovative approaches to candidate sourcing and engagement.



We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
