The Role

We're seeking an experienced and driven

Recruitment Manager

to lead and develop our talent acquisition strategy. You'll play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top-tier professionals -- from scaffolders and logistics staff to management and technical specialists.

This role requires someone with exceptional organisational skills, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to recruitment. You'll be responsible for ensuring our teams are fully staffed with competent, compliant, and motivated individuals who uphold S.S.G.'s standards on every project.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement an effective end-to-end recruitment strategy for all divisions. Build talent pipelines for scaffolding, logistics, transport, and operational roles. Manage job postings, screening, and interviews to ensure quick and quality placements. Liaise with Directors, Project Managers, and HR to forecast workforce requirements. Ensure all recruits meet relevant safety, training, and compliance standards (CISRS, Sentinel, etc.). Maintain recruitment records, compliance documentation, and onboarding procedures. Represent S.S.G. professionally across recruitment events, industry networks, and online platforms.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Recruitment Manager or similar HR/recruitment leadership role. Strong understanding of construction/scaffolding industry recruitment processes. Knowledge of workforce compliance, training certification, and safety standards. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven. Ability to work under pressure and meet staffing targets.
