Recruitment Manager
to lead our recruitment function and help shape the teams who deliver outstanding care.

The Role
As our
Recruitment Manager
, you'll oversee the full recruitment lifecycle across all residential childcare settings, ensuring we attract, select, and retain exceptional people who share our values and commitment to children's wellbeing.
You'll lead and develop the internal recruitment team, manage compliance and safer recruitment practices, and work closely with senior leaders to deliver a seamless and candidate-focused hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop the internal recruitment team, ensuring targets and KPIs are consistently met.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process -- from vacancy requests and advertising to interviews, onboarding, and compliance checks.
Ensure full adherence to
Children's Home Regulations
and
safer recruitment
requirements.
Partner with Registered Managers and senior leaders to forecast staffing needs and implement strategic recruitment plans.
Drive efficiency and continuous improvement across recruitment processes to enhance candidate experience.
Monitor and manage recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, candidate engagement, and retention.
Attend recruitment events and job fairs to promote Bright Life Living as an employer of choice.
Utilise digital platforms and social media to attract high-quality candidates.
Support the mobilisation of new homes and services through effective workforce planning.
Regularly review and update recruitment materials, interview packs, and advertising content.
Ensure regular communication with hiring managers, providing updates and expert guidance throughout the recruitment process.
About You
Proven experience in
recruitment management
, ideally within
social care or residential childcare
.
In-depth understanding of
safer recruitment
and
Ofsted/Children's Home Regulations
.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, support, and develop others.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
Proactive, organised, and process-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Confident using ATS systems, job boards, and social media recruitment tools.
