We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our team in Sible Hedingham. Forest Homecare is one of the largest domiciliary care and support providers in Essex and Suffolk.
You will be responsible for sourcing and processing new and potential candidates for a variety of care based and office-based job roles.
This successful applicant will oversee the recruitment process from start to finish.
Duties will include:
Utilise online recruitment methods such as job boards and social media
Managing and updating job adverts to ensure the best possible exposure
Working with recruitment agencies and the local jobcentres
Review applications and conduct face to face/ online interviews to obtain information regarding applicant's work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements
Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with CQC regulations and company standards
Liaise with the Managing Director, managers and coordinators regarding recruitment needs
Oversee the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed (DBS, references, right-to-work documentation etc.)
General filing, input of new starters onto the database, sending out application packs/offer letters/rejection letters etc.
Sending out new contracts of employment
Liaise with payroll with regard to new starters and leavers
Liaise with the trainer and book new starters onto the monthly induction training
Carrying out exit interviews via telephone
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and employee records
Provide general administrative support to management teams
Skills and Requirements
Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the health or social care sector
Experience using online job boards and social media
Knowledge of high-volume recruitment advantageous
Excellent communication skills
Excellent IT skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A professional, approachable and customer-focused attitude
