To facilitate the acquisition of talent into Open GI using proactive and responsive recruitment tools and techniques. Support the wider team with talent onboarding as well as training and development activities.







This is a

hybrid position

requiring

office attendance at our Worcester location twice a week

.

Key responsibilities





Operate a systematic and robust recruitment and selection framework, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to attracting and selecting our talent. Proactively coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience at every stage. Closely work with hiring managers and key stakeholders to reduce reliance on the use of agencies, reduce recruitment fees and develop our employer brand. Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on the recruitment process and all relevant practices. Take responsibility for proactively managing the progression of any recruitment roles. Maintain and review the Preferred Supplier List (PSL) to ensure high standards of service and cost efficiency. Seek suitable candidates through direct searches on platforms such as LinkedIn, or other channels. Stay informed on industry recruitment trends, market salary rates, in-demand skills, and innovative selection tools and techniques. Lead the coordination of recruitment events and all associated literature and products for these. Collaborate with local educational institutions to promote Open GI and support the attraction of early-career talent. Support hiring managers in drafting accurate and engaging job descriptions that reflect the scope and requirements of roles. Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring efficient candidate tracking, pooling, and reporting. Collaborate with the wider HR team to support the deployment of talent management initiatives, particularly in recruitment, onboarding, and learning and development.

Qualifications







Educated to at least A Level or equivalent CIPD or equivalent qualification (or working towards, advantageous)

Experience





Proven experience of working in an HR and/or recruitment environment and an understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and best practices Proven experience of effective agency management Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and professional networking platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) Proven experience of creative and effective job advert creation Experience of working with cloud based (SAAS) HR systems would be an advantage

Stakeholder management and relationship building Strong organisational and administration skills Accuracy and attention to detail Good practical knowledge and experience of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint - essential) Creative advert creation, and employer brand awareness Creative and engaging writing skills
