SENbrook Education Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused
Recruitment & Onboarding Co-ordinator
to support our safer recruitment and compliance processes. This is a critical role ensuring all recruitment and onboarding activity meets statutory, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements within an education and care setting.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will coordinate recruitment and onboarding activity, ensuring all pre-employment checks, records, and audits are completed accurately and in line with safer recruitment legislation and SENbrook policies.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment activity in line with safer recruitment procedures
Draft and publish compliant job adverts across job boards, careers sites, and social media
Liaise with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles
Assess applications and CVs for suitability and compliance
Coordinate interviews
Manage applicant data via the ATS and HR systems
Ensure Enhanced DBS and Barred List checks are completed and risk-assessed where applicable
Review full employment histories and flag discrepancies to managers
Coordinate onboarding and prepare compliance documentation for final sign-off
Produce recruitment metrics, compliance reports, and audit documentation
Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant records at all times
Candidate Experience & Communication
Respond professionally to candidate queries and provide clear recruitment updates
Build strong working relationships with managers and stakeholders
Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
Safeguarding
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
Escalate safeguarding or compliance concerns in line with SENbrook policies
Adhere at all times to safeguarding, whistleblowing, and safer recruitment procedures
About You
Administrative and organisational skills
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR, or compliance (education or care preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and audit readiness
Confident communicator with a professional, approachable manner
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
