Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Recycling Manager

to lead the day-to-day operations of our PET recycling processing facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in managing PET bottle recycling lines and flake production, as well as a strong understanding of international recycling standards, health & safety, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all PET recycling plant operations, including sorting, washing (hot and cold), drying, and quality control of recycled flakes. Supervise and coordinate production teams to achieve operational efficiency, safety, and product quality. Develop and implement operational plans to optimize plant performance and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with ISO standards, HSE policies, and environmental regulations. Manage procurement of raw plastic bottles and oversee the logistics of material flow. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth plant operations. Prepare production reports, manage budgets, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead, train, and mentor staff to build a skilled and safety-conscious workforce.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years' experience in plastic recycling operations, preferably PET bottle recycling and flake production. Strong technical knowledge of hot and cold wash PET recycling systems and related machinery. Proven leadership experience managing plant operations and production teams. Familiarity with ISO quality systems and environmental management practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in international recycling or waste management operations. Understanding of HDPE, PP, and other plastic recycling processes. Knowledge of EU export quality standards for recycled flakes.
