Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Referee to officiate various sporting events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the rules and regulations of the sport, ensuring fair play and maintaining the integrity of the game. This role requires excellent communication skills, quick decision-making abilities, and a passion for sports.

4-person team

that includes:

A dedicated

League Supervisor

ball boy

Three referees

working together to ensure a smooth, fair, and enjoyable match night

Duties

Officiate games by enforcing rules and regulations to ensure fair play. Make quick and accurate decisions regarding fouls, penalties, and other game-related incidents. Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and other officials to maintain order during matches. Maintain a thorough understanding of the sport's rules and any updates or changes. Manage game time effectively, including stoppages for injuries or other interruptions. Provide clear signals to indicate fouls, goals, and other significant events during the game. Attend training sessions or meetings as required to enhance officiating skills.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the sport being officiated. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Previous experience as a referee or official is preferred but not essential; training may be provided. Physical fitness to keep up with the pace of the game. Monday nights 7pm-9pm
