We foster a family-like atmosphere where individuals can rebuild their lives with the help of our internal and external support networks. We are seeking a committed and empathetic Referral Manager to oversee and manage our referral process, ensuring that those in need can access our supported exempt accommodation.

Role Overview:


As a Referral Manager, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking accommodation and support. You will develop relationships with referral agencies, assess potential residents for suitability, and manage our referral pipeline. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a steady stream of suitable referrals while ensuring all assessments are conducted professionally and empathetically.

Key Responsibilities:



Referral Management:

Oversee the weekly referral process, ensuring all applications are processed efficiently and appropriately.

Client Assessment:

Conduct initial assessments via phone to determine suitability for accommodation and support.

Referral Relationships:

Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal agencies to secure appropriate referrals.

Networking & Outreach:

Actively seek out new referral opportunities and partnerships within the sector.

Support Pathways:

Maintain a strong understanding of support services and referral routes available for individuals experiencing domestic abuse.

Social Media & Website Management:

Update and manage the Non Violentiam CIC Facebook page to engage with potential referral sources. Assist in maintaining the organization's website to reflect current services and opportunities.

Administrative Duties:

Answer incoming calls and provide information to potential residents and referral agencies. Maintain accurate records of referrals and client assessments. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions into accommodation.

Person Specification:



Experience in working with vulnerable individuals, particularly survivors of domestic abuse. Strong understanding of support pathways and services available for individuals fleeing domestic abuse. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external agencies. Confident in conducting assessments over the phone with sensitivity and professionalism. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple referrals effectively. Competence in using social media for engagement and outreach. Experience in website content management is desirable. Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
