We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, along with a solid understanding of anatomy. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging classes that promote physical fitness, flexibility, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their fitness goals while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct Reformer Pilates classes for individuals and groups, adapting sessions to meet the varying needs of participants.
Demonstrate proper techniques and movements to ensure correct form and prevent injuries.
Provide modifications and progressions for exercises based on participants' skill levels and physical abilities.
Develop class plans that incorporate a variety of Pilates methods and principles.
Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and in good condition.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client engagement and motivation.
Assess clients' progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their fitness objectives.
Stay updated on the latest trends in Pilates and fitness to continuously enhance your teaching methods.
Requirements
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a focus on fitness or wellness disciplines.
Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to movement and exercise physiology.
Certification in Pilates instruction from an accredited organisation is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others improve their well-being.
