As part of our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, we are seeking skilled and passionate Pilates Instructors to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Position Overview:

As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall well-being of our patients by integrating Pilates into their healthcare plans, and also providing pilates classes to those who are self led in their own wellness journey. This position involves working closely with our healthcare professionals to design and implement personalised Pilates programs that address the unique needs of each individual. We are opening a new reformer pilates studio and we want amazing people to be part of the journey

Responsibilities:

Conduct Pilates Assessments:

Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to design customised Pilates programs that align with their healthcare goals.

Instruct Reform Pilates Classes:

Lead group and individual Pilates classes using reformers, ensuring a safe and effective workout tailored to each participant's fitness level and health considerations.

Collaborate with Healthcare Team:

Work closely with healthcare providers, physical therapists, and other professionals to integrate Pilates into patients' overall healthcare plans.

Monitor Progress:

Track and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting Pilates programs as needed to support their rehabilitation or wellness goals.

Provide Education:

Educate patients on the benefits of Pilates, emphasising its role in improving flexibility, strength, and overall physical well-being.

Maintain Equipment:

Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of Pilates equipment, creating a safe and inviting environment for participants.

Stay Informed:

Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements in Pilates, and relevant healthcare information to continuously enhance the quality of instruction.

Qualifications:

Certified Pilates Instructor with a recognised certification program. You must be Mat level 3 or equivalent already. Previous experience in instructing reformer Pilates classes is preferred but we welcome new instructors Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles. Commitment to providing a positive and inclusive exercise experience for participants.

Training:

While prior experience with reformer Pilates is an asset, we are willing to support the candidate with training where we can.
