Main Purpose of Role

Our production team are looking for a responsible person to undertake any designated process operations throughout production.

Key Accountabilities

Undertake various process manufacturing operations within production, for which training will be provided. Utilise various tools/operate machines to assist in manufacturing process. Perform quality checks and verifications to ensure quality specifications are met. Work or assist in other departments to balance workloads and to meet scheduled priorities. Assist with continuous improvement projects. Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition and comply with all relevant Health and Safety requirements. Comply with the relevant requirements of our ISO 9001: and environmental management standards. Record and report all daily manufacturing performance to Shift Supervisor. Undertake all internal and external training as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Essential Criteria

Trained in safe manual handling techniques. Works well in a team and able to communicate effectively. Able to take ownership of tasks. Demonstrates honesty and integrity. Flexible and adaptable to change and prepared to transfer from one department to another.

Desirable Criteria

Forklift truck license Skid steer license Loading shovel license Trained in First Aid Worked in similar refractory/ceramic environment.

Travel

You will be required to commute to work to start on early shift pattern or afternoons if required.
