We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in air conditioning systems. This role involves building, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. The successful applicant will demonstrate leadership abilities and be comfortable interpreting schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Duties

Build, install, and maintain air conditioning systems in various settings. Conduct regular inspections and repairs on existing equipment to ensure functionality. Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions for air conditioning systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance schedules. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide installation and repair processes. Provide leadership and training to junior engineers or apprentices as required.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in air conditioning systems. Strong skills in equipment repair and maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is crucial. A valid driving licence may be required for travel between sites.
