Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and building air conditioning equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair various air conditioning systems and components. Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs. Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair processes. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provide leadership within the team, guiding junior engineers or apprentices as required. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on air conditioning systems. Ability to read and understand schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to equipment repair. Leadership qualities with the capacity to mentor others in the team. A valid driving licence may be required for travel between job sites.
